Maistre, Gilles de

(May 8, 1960, Boulogne-Billancourt, Hauts-de-Seine, France - )

   After graduating with a bachelor's degree in philoso­phy and a diploma from the Centre de Formation des Journalistes (Journalists Training Center), he worked as a press photographer for the Sygma and then the Capa agency before becoming a reporter for French TV. In 1990, he received the prestigious Albert Londres Prize and a Hollywood Emmy Award.
