Causse, Jean-Max

   Having graduated from Sup'de Co (Superior Business School), he worked as an executive for an insurance company when he bought a movie theater (which became Studio Action) with a colleague, Jean-Marie Rodon, in l966. They founded a release company, Action Gitanes, dedicated to American classics. Their two movie theaters, Action Ecoles and Action Chris­tine, remain temples of cinephilism. Jean-Max Causse appeared in a few films (1996 Le Rocher d'Acapulco, Laurent Tuel; 2001 Un Jeu d'Enfants, Laurent Tuel; 2007 Charly, short, Isild Le Besco).
